Depending on the season, Kuki (stemmed) Sencha tea, powdered Gyokuroko (high-quality green tea), or Genmai tea is mixed with Ryokucha (green tea), in which the mix of leaves are put into tea bags for you to enjoy in the room. The teas are from either Ippodo or Koyamaen.
In this popular accommodation plan of “Miyako Seven Gods of Fortune”, you will receive an amulet from Rokuharamitsuji Temple (an amulet in the form of a good luck charm with the Seven Gods of Fortune). The amulet that you can recieve after praying, can be picked up at Towa, or at Rokuharamitsuji Temple.
The pictures, which are decorated in the room, were received from Nishida of the drapery store. The unique pattern of Kyoto makes the room quite elegant.
Upon your arrival, we welcome you with Matcha or Hojicha tea. The matcha tea is of Ippodo’s Akebono White. Handmade sesame Castella (Japanese cake) is served together with tea. The sesame seeds of Gion Murata are carefully ground, producing a unique fragrance.
The soymilk served in the morning is from Toyoukeya-san in Kitano. The soymlk is rich enough in flavor that it reminds you of the actual shape and texture of soybeans.
The incense is Matsuedo’s “Horikawa”. After your clothes have been perfumed by the incense, you will feel relieved by the smell.
